The Body as Signal

The body is not decoration. It is the most honest instrument you have. It knows before the mind does.

The mind is excellent at narrative. It constructs explanations, defences, and justifications with impressive speed. It can convince you that the decision you are rationalising is the right one, that the discomfort you are numbing is nothing serious, that the warning you are ignoring is not a warning.

The body does not have this capacity. It does not rationalise. It responds.
