Noise

Noise is not the absence of signal. It is the wrong signal running the show. The Pattern cannot run on it.

Noise is not silence. It is not emptiness. Noise is active. It presents as urgency, obligation, opinion, anxiety, other people's expectations, and the constant low-grade hum of an unexamined life.

The problem is not that noise exists. It always will. The problem is mistaking it for signal.
