Correction

The gap names the distance. Correction closes it. Without this step the Pattern is just diagnosis.

Reality tells you where you are. The Gap tells you the distance between that and where you could be. Correction is the step where you actually move.

Most people stall here. They can name the gap fluently. They can articulate exactly what is wrong, what is missing, what needs to change. And then they do not change it. They return to the beginning of the loop — reassessing the same reality, measuring the same gap, arriving at the same conclusions — and calling that progress.

It is not progress. It is a holding pattern.
