Avoidance feels like rest. It is not rest. It is deferred cost, compounding interest, and a gap that does not close.

Avoidance is the most common reason the Pattern stalls. Not failure of execution. Not lack of knowledge. The quiet, daily decision to not look at the thing that needs looking at.

It rarely presents as avoidance. It arrives as busyness, fatigue, rational priority-setting, and the convincing sense that this is not the right time.
